Prince Nymph – Beadhead
The Prince Nymph is one of the most effective and widely used attractor nymphs in fly fishing — a pattern that imitates nothing specific but triggers strikes through its bold, iridescent combination of peacock herl, white biots, and brown hackle. Whether with a bead head or not, the Prince is a great searching pattern that produces trout in a wide range of water types and conditions, making it a favorite among new anglers and veterans alike. The beadhead version adds weight to get the fly into the strike zone faster and deeper, making it especially effective in faster water, deeper runs, and any situation where you need to get down quickly.
