Prince Nymph
The Prince Nymph is one of the most effective and widely used attractor nymphs in fly fishing — a pattern that imitates nothing specific but triggers strikes through its bold, iridescent combination of peacock herl, white biots, and brown hackle. Whether with a bead head or not, the Prince is a great searching pattern that produces trout in a wide range of water types and conditions, making it a favorite among new anglers and veterans alike. The unweighted version rides higher in the water column and is ideal for shallower water, slower runs, and situations where a more natural, unweighted drift is needed to fool selective fish.
