Got in touch with Nicholas at Pursuit asking for some fly suggestions for a river I was going to fish. He responded immediately and gave me some good info for fly fishing technique and fly suggestions. I bought a lot of the flies he suggested. I didn’t end up using all of the flies he recommended, but all of the flies I did use made by Pursuit put me on fish, showing the quality of the flies and his knowledge as well.

I think I hooked into about 50 trout that day, all on the smaller size, with one large cutthroat that put up a very good fight. I probably caught about 30 fish on one of Pursuit’s dry flies and the fly still looked great and the hook was still sharp. Most of the flies I buy start deteriorating after the 15th fish or so. I’m definitely going to continue to buy from Pursuit when I need more flies. Thanks Nick.
