BiVisible – Brown
The BiVisible is a classic American dry fly pattern developed by Edward Ringwood Hewitt in the early 20th century — and it remains one of the most practical and effective searching patterns for fast, broken water. The design is elegantly simple: a densely palmered brown hackle body for floatation and insect imitation, topped with a front section of white hackle that makes the fly easy to track in choppy riffles and pocket water where visibility is a constant challenge. The brown version imitates a broad range of insects and produces consistently as a searching pattern throughout the season.
